Terms of Use
Last updated: February 2026
By accessing or using Ability Directory (https://abilitydirectory.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is
Ability Directory is an online directory that aggregates publicly available information about NDIS providers. The directory is provided for informational purposes only.
We are not a disability service provider, support coordinator, or plan manager. We do not employ, recommend, or endorse any provider listed on this site. A listing on this site does not constitute an endorsement, referral, or recommendation.
2. Not medical or disability advice
Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, disability advice, NDIS plan advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided is not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified healthcare provider, support coordinator, or plan manager.
Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions you may have regarding your supports and services. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this site.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 000 (Australia). For crisis support, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14. To report concerns about an NDIS provider, contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.
3. Provider information accuracy
Provider information displayed on this site is sourced from publicly available data, including Google Maps, provider websites, and public registers. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information current, we do not independently verify all provider details and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing.
Provider details such as fees, wait times, availability, NDIS registration status, funding compatibility, and services offered may change without notice. You should always verify details directly with a provider before making any decisions.
To verify whether a provider is registered with the NDIS, check the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's registered provider search. For allied health professionals (occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists), you can also check the AHPRA Register of Practitioners. Register data may contain delays or errors.
4. No provider-participant relationship
Use of this site does not create a provider-participant, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship between you and any listed provider, or between you and Ability Directory.
5. No liability for provider actions
Ability Directory is not responsible or liable for the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided by listed providers. Any interactions, appointments, or service agreements arising from information found on this site are solely between you and the provider. We accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of a listed provider's services.
6. Services provided "as is"
This site and all information on it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If such a guarantee, warranty, or term is implied, our liability is limited to the re-supply of the service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ability Directory and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of this site. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site shall not exceed AUD $100.
8. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, scrapers, bots, or similar technology to extract data from this site without our prior written consent
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute provider listings in bulk for commercial purposes
- Use this site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any provider listed on this site
9. Intellectual property
While individual provider facts (names, addresses, phone numbers) are publicly available, the compilation, organisation, and presentation of provider data on this site is the intellectual property of Ability Directory. You may not reproduce the database in whole or in substantial part without our written permission.
10. External links
This site may contain links to external websites, including provider websites, the NDIS Commission, AHPRA, and government agencies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
